About M.Kogent™

M.Kogent™ is a 31 year old Atlanta native, multi-faceted musician who writes, produces, engineers, and performs his own music. He plays the trumpet, a craft that he has honed since the age of 12. He is an alumni of the great Bethune-Cookman University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Recording Technology. Not only did Kogent just attend this institution, but he excelled in all of his courses, earning him much attention and acclaim from his professors. He graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a 3.7 GPA amongst joining two fraternities (Phi Mu Alpha and Alpha Phi Alpha) and being a section leader in the school’s popular Marching Wildcats Band. This young phenom is very well rounded. “Music was always around me”, Kogent says as he is being interviewed. He grew up as a young boy rustling around with his father’s equipment in their home studio. It wasn’t until his best friend passed away in a car accident at the age 15 that his passion for becoming an artist really set in. From this point on, grinding habitually on his many crafts is all M.Kogent has done and will continue to do until his, “music touches every inch of this earth”. ...Follow the Kovolution movement!
